Gavin's Birthday

I still can't believe I have a five-year-old! Despite being reminded on a weekly basis, it just doesn't seem real that he can be growing up so fast. This year Gavin decided he wanted a STAR themed birthday, so instead of doing Birthday Hearts, we hung Birthday Stars from the roof. Gavin was excited in the morning to see all the stars and his presents laying out, including a new bike from Grandma and Grandpa.

The Sunday before Gavin's Birthday, Gavin came home from Primary and announced he wanted his own Scriptures for his Birthday. His new Book of Mormon was just about as big of a hit as his new bike!

Jared found this really cool pirate ship game at the Heber Thrift Store

Water guns from Grandma

Craft supplies from Nana & Grandpa Ducky

Jared took Gavin's Birthday off from work! While Grandma stayed home with Liam,
we partied it up at Lehi Fun Center playing laser tag and bumper boats!

Gavin's Star Carnival Birthday Party!

Thanks to the Wilson's we had a bounce house which the kids loved!

I thought the it would be hard to get the kids out of the bounce house, but as soon as we mentioned 'PRIZES' they were all clamoring out and jumping in line to play the carnival games. We had a Penny Toss, Duck Pond, and Pin Knock Down! At each game the kids earned tickets, and at the end of the party they could trade in their tickets for prizes at the prize table.

Liam found a spoon and kept himself entertained in the dirt!

The powdered donuts on a string was a huge hit!

Giant STAR cake with STAR sprinkles and STAR candles!
