Merry Christmas!

Out of the nine years we've been married, this year was our very first Christmas on our own, in our own home. We love visiting family, but there was something really special about spending Christmas with just the four of us in our new home this year. It was relaxing and fun to do our own Christmas breakfast and dinner. A few days after Christmas we headed down to Vegas to visit grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins and spend New Years Eve together.

Thanksgiving in Vegas

From Goblin Valley we headed out towards Vegas. 

The drive along I-70 was a new one for us. It was beautiful, and the pictures just don't do it justice.

 While we were in Vegas Allison and her kids were heading up to Utah for Thanksgiving.

They stopped overnight at Mark and Patti's along the way, and it was great having cousin time!

 Vegas was abnormally warm this Thanksgiving -

but we did visit Santa at container park this year.
