Happy Birthday Jared!

Living in Midway didn't stop us from our annual Birthday celebration at Nickel City! And of course we topped it off with dinner at Burger Supreme complete with Shirley's fruit/cinnamon roles in lieu of birthday cake for dessert! Happy Birthday Jared!

The Living Planet Aquarium

After Gavin finished preschool I wanted to try and continue doing reading activities with him so he wouldn't forget all he learned from Miss Rebecca at Patchwork Preschool! For every page Gavin read from his reading folder, he got to put a button in a jar. Once the jar was full he got to choose somewhere special to go. Gavin decided he wanted to check out The Living Planet Aquarium to see the penguins. So finally at the beginning of November we drove down to Sandy to check it out and also stop by the Wilson's new place for a visit.

Happy Halloween

Despite the craziness of moving (again) right before Halloween we made sure to make time for our favorite Halloween traditions! Early in October we headed down to Jakers Jack-O-Lantern Pumpkin Patch to check out the animals, enjoy a hay ride, play in the corn pile, and pick our pumpkins. The hour drive from Heber to Springville was long, but this is a tradition we weren't ready to quit quite yet!

The next morning we headed out early to spend the day at Cornbelly's. Despite the rain it was still warm out and we had fun getting lost in the corn maze, watching pig races, playing in the bounce area, trick-or-treating, and a whole lot more!

When the boys came back from their trip to Vegas and we were mostly moved into our new place, we made time to carve our pumpkins, put up the Halloween decorations, and finish costumes.
