Fall Time Fun

Here's a quick photo update of life for the Edgel Family this fall.

wasn't so interesting for the boys, but they did have fun checking out the

other animals and watching the awesome Super Dog Shows.  

 Thanks to Wild Kratts Gavin knew what a prehensile tail was and was chosen

to volunteer during the Exotic Animals Exhibit to see if this animal has one.

(Don't worry - I didn't know what it was either. Love when my six year old teaches new things!)

Jared had to do some repairs at our condo in Provo, so the boys and I hung out at the Provo Rec Center. Jared joined us just before it was time for me to head off to work.  I love watching Liam in the water - nothing seems to phase him. And bribery with candies convinced Gavin to go down the big tube slides! He was waiting up at the top for at least 5 minutes before he actual got up the nerve, then after that first time down he went at least half a dozen more times. What a kook!

'A' Is For Autumn

I can't get over how beautiful the mountains and canyon is in the fall. I don't mind the 35 minute commute down to Utah Valley Hospital, and driving through a gorgeous canyon, especially during autumn with all the bright colors, is almost therapeutic . It sure beats driving through busy freeway traffic any day.  I wish I had some pictures of the beautiful canyon, but you'll just have to setting for some cute kids instead!

Cascade Springs is full of color in the fall, with bright reflections on the water. We were a little late in making there, and even though most of the trees were bare it was still a fun trip and the boys loved throwing fallen leaves in the mini water falls. And it's still a pretty stroll along the boardwalks even without the autumn colors.
