Who ever said Halloween was just a one day event. In this house hold the "Halloween Season" starts early in October and lasts all month long. We started the month off with our annual trip to Jaker's Pumpkin Patch down in Springville. We remember going to this when it was a small local and free event. It's grown over the years, is no longer free, and this year there were even food trucks and other vendors there. We even ran into a neighbor from Midway who had also taken the hour trip to get to Jaker's.
We played in the corn pile, climbed the hay bale tower, slid down the pipe slides, found our way through the hay and corn mazes, picked our pumpkins, and visited the animals. With how crowded it was this year we opted out of waiting in line for the tractor ride through the pumpkin patch and got some cotton candy instead.
There's more to setting up Halloween decorations then just putting them up. Nightmare Before Christmas playing in the background is required, and is watched at least a few times throughout the month. Even Gavin's friend down the street came to help decorate our door.

You're right, Halloween used to be just one day (and not my favourite) but you make it look like a lot more fun all month.
