This year I was on call for work on Thanksgiving, but I lucked out (and have great co-workers who covered things for me) so that I ended up not having to go in. Since Jared's family was celebrating on the Saturday, we spend Thanksgiving Day hanging out in Provo. We ate dinner at the Golden Corral, which was an interesting experience, but not one I'd like to make a tradition of. I was surprised though at how many other people were also lined up out the door to go out for their Turkey dinner. After dinner we headed over to Walmart to check out Black Friday deals (that now start on Thursday...) And we made out like bandits before hitting the road for Vegas.
Loving cousins and Grandparents!
We had a great time with family in Vegas hanging out at the dry lake bed visiting, eating yummy food, quading, flying airplanes, kicking balls, riding bikes/scooters, shooting BB guns, and watching Tyler try to shoot down Steve's planes with the potato gun. (I may have married into a slightly red-neck family...but I sure love them!)
We also went to the Magical Forest at Opportunity Village for some early Christmas fun!
