Getting Ready for Baby

I've now passed the 38 week mark, and with only 11 more days until my due date, I'm starting to get anxious and ready for this baby to arrive!  I've had a list on our whiteboard the past while of "To Do's Before Baby Comes", and it's slowly getting smaller and smaller.  I've pulled out, sorted, washed and organized baby clothes, got the change table ready, pulled out the baby swing and some toys, have the car seat easily accessible in the storage room, and stocked the freezer with a few meals.  I've also gone into major nesting zone the past few days.  When I wake up at 4:30am uncomfortable and unable to sleep anyways, why not organize the pantry and clean the fridge?

Yesterday I set up the cradle, and Gavin chose a baby blanket to put over the mattress.  It was really cute! Right after Gavin said, "Come on Mommy!  We need to hurry and get more ready for Liam to come!"  He rushed into his room and started cleaning to help get things ready (and I honestly don't think I've ever seen him clean his room so fast in my life)!  Now I just need to pack my hospital bag!  And if there's any spare time I'll work on finishing the baby blanket for my newest niece Emerlynn, and starting two more - one for our little boy and another for Heather's baby due the beginning of September.  (But I'm thinking that's a little ambitious!)
