2012 Wrap Up

The end of 2012 came and went in a flash!  It's already half way through February, and I'm still catching up on all that we were up to the last part of 2012.  In November we celebrated Jared's 30th Birthday!  He may have turned 30 this year...but he's still just as big of a kid as ever.  Of course we celebrated with dinner at Burger Supreme, and fun at the Nickel Cade (now Nickel City).

November also brought the first snowfall of the year, and it's so fun having a two-year-old who would spend hours outside in the freezing weather if his parents could tolerate the cold as well as he can!  Making snow forts and sliding down the hill - what could be better!

...Except maybe escaping the cold for a while and heading down to Vegas for Thanksgiving and some warmer temperatures.

And of course we enjoyed getting ready for the Christmas season!  Since we were going down to Mexico this year for Christmas, I was anxious to set up our own Christmas decorations so that we could enjoy them for as long as possible before leaving on our trip.

We decorated the tree....

Read Christmas stories...

Wrapped presents and hung our stockings...

 Visited Santa...

And added to our advent calendar manger scene each morning

This past year has not come without it's struggles, but we've been blessed in so many ways, and I am so grateful for my sweet, loving family!  Jared is continuing to work on TranquilMed, while I'm working part time at the hospital.  We both enjoy what we're doing, and love the flexibility it gives us to spend so much time together as a family.  Gavin is growing up too fast, becoming a strong willed and stubborn two-year-old, but a darn cute one!  I love his determination to do everything, "BY MYSELF!"  Life is good!
