Halloween Fun

Although I had to work Halloween night this year, we made sure to take advantage of as much Halloween fun as we could.  We took two trips down to Jacker's Jack-O-Lantern Pumpkin Patch in Springville, where they have free hay rides, hay mazes, a corn pile, and animals.  Gavin loved it all!

I'm not sure where we came up with this tradition, but each year for Halloween we make and decorate shortbread cookies.  This year we made some for us, as well as taking plates around to friends and Gavin's nursery leaders.

Although a little pricey for us, it was still worth it to go to Cornbelly's for a day!  We showed up in the morning when not everything was open, but there was still lots to do and no crowds.  After lunch we came back, and since we already had our wristbands, we got to skip the long lines and walk straight on in.  We spend the afternoon jumping in bouncy houses, doing the kids corn maze, hey rides, climbing on tractors, and more!

We carved and painted pumpkins
