I cannot get over the beauty of living up here in Wasatch County. I often find myself pulling over to snap a quick photo and capture the beauty of Heber Valley. Here are two pictures of our new town of Midway; one back in November and again blanketed in snow on New Years Eve Day.
We headed down to Vegas for Christmas on a beautiful crisp day. It seriously looked like a painting driving by Deer Creek Reservoir with the mountains reflected in the water.
When the snow first arrived the beginning of November Gavin could NOT wait to get out and play in it. He didn't have any snow pants or boots that fit...but that didn't stop Gavin from starting a snowball fight! Liam is also a huge fan of the snow, and if Gavin is outside playing he will cry at the door until he is bundled up and let out to play with brother.
We have since gotten Gavin new snow pants and boots
I love the trees when they are covered in frost and snow
And with all this snow we have built a quinzee (snow shelter) in our back yard. One of these nights we will attempt to sleep in it!
