Grandparents

I mentioned before how blessed we were to have so much help from family when Liam first arrived, and I'm just now getting around to posting pictures.  While Jared and I were at the hospital, Gavin got to have fun hanging out and sleeping in the RV with Nana and Grandpa Ducky for a few days!

A few hours after Liam's birth, we were excited and ready to have Gavin come and meet his new baby brother.  On the way to the hospital Gavin kept telling Nana & Grandpa Ducky how excited he was to meet Liam and see him take his first bath.  When we took a tour of the hospital a few weeks before, the nurse had shown Gavin where Liam would have his bath, and told him he could stand on a stool at the window and watch.  My parents, not realizing this, tried to explain to Gavin that he probably wouldn't see Liam have a bath at the hospital, but Gavin was right and got to help push Liam down the hall and watch him have his first bath bath!  He also made sure to wear his "Big Bro" shirt when he came!

And since I never posted them earlier, here's some cute photos we had taken while at the hospital

After Jared, Liam, and I came home from the hospital, it was nice to have my parents near by and have them take Gavin out with them on errands.  They'd take him to preschool for me, and he had fun just hanging out at the RV park with them playing at the playground and swimming in the pool.  My parents also got watch some of Gavin's soccer games, which were always entertaining!

Cuddles from Nana & Grandpa Ducky

Shortly after my parents left Mark and Patti came up for a visit and to meet Liam!  They enjoyed lots of snuggles, and were also a great help taking care of Gavin.  There were more soccer games, taking Gavin to and from preschool, and lots of cuddles from grandparents!

Gavin had lots of fun going fishing with Grandpa, despite the rain and not catching any fish
(whoever said fishing had to involve catching anything anyways!?)

We also enjoyed a trip up to Heber to visit Daddy, and a trip up to Bridal Veil Falls

On my parents drive from Canada back home to Mexico, they stopped in Utah for a few days over General Conference weekend.  We enjoyed another quick visit, and we were able to go with them up to Temple Square for General Conference.  Jared and I thought we'd be able to switch part way through Conference, taking turns watching the kids, but it didn't quite work out, so I was able to go to the first half, then the four of us hung out on Temple Square while my parents attended the rest.  I think Gavin's favorite part was getting to ride up to Salt Lake and back on the Front Runner with Nana and Grandpa Ducky!

And of course we enjoyed some more walks and trips to the park!

Such wonderful memories with all of you. Can't wait to make more in Mexico at Christmas time.
