I started this project a while ago, (back in February actually), and have learned alot in the process. The binding by far took me the longest to finish, as I learned how to first make the binding, attach it to the blanket, and then make mitered corners.
After machine sewing the binding to the front it had to be hand stitched on the back, which took a while to do. It was fun to make, and I'm excited to get better at sewing and to try something different for my next project!

Jen, it looks so good! I love that you taught yourself to quilt and have been making quilts for the babies in the family ever since. I love the quilts you made for my girls and hope that you won't stop now that you'll have a baby of your own :) It looks great. Good job! Love you
Way to go Jennifer! This quilt will stick around for a very long time. Elaina & Erin both used a quilt that I made when I was pregnant with Allison & all 4 of you used!
You did a terrific job Jen!
