My Amazing Husband!

I am truly so blessed to be married to such a wonderful man! two Saturdays ago, May 9th, was our one year anniversary!!! We went to Vegas for the weekend to visit Jared's family, and throughout the entire day there were constant surprises. I woke up Saturday morning (before Jared as usual), and attached to the bedroom door was a long stem origami rose. Attached was a note that read, "One first rose for the beautiful first year of eternal marriage we celebrate today!" At the bottom of the note was a clue to where/when I would find more beautiful paper roses. By the end of the day I had a dozen flowers, each with a sentimental note describing what the flowers represented. These are the rest of the notes I received throughout the day:

Note #2: "Two roses for the two wonderful years we spent dating and getting to know one another!"
Note #3: "Three roses for the three years, two months, and 25 days we've been in each others lives!"
Note #4: "Three roses for the three houses our love has made homes!"
Note #5: "Two roses for the two rings that remind us of our love and covenants to each other and the Lord."
Note #6: "One last rose for the one and only companion, love and friend that will be with you for all of this life and the eternities to follow. (open the rose)"

Jared gave me the final rose while we were eating dinner at Ventano, our favourite Italian restaurant in Vegas. This is where we had our family dinner after our temple sealing, where we ate dinner on our one month anniversary, and now where we celebrated our one year anniversary as well. Inside the last rose was a gorgeous amethyst necklace (my birthstone)! We ate out on the porch with a great view of Vegas, and when our waitress found out it was our anniversary she gave us a strawberry cheese cake for free!
