When asking Gavin what he wanted me to make for his Birthday Dinner, he replied, "Burger King!" So Burger King it was. This actually worked out really well, because the drywall guys arrived at our place shortly after Gavin got home from school to start work on the basement. Life was busy and stressful, so an evening out of the house at Burger King was just what we all needed.

Gavin has been all about rocks! This year he wanted his birthday party to be a geology rock themed party. We ate geode cupcakes, had a gemstone matching contest and backyard rock hunt, ate "rocks" off a string, enjoyed pizza, Otter-Pops, and Kool-Aid, opened presents, and cracked open geodes. It was a fun and successful party!
