Happy Second Birthday Liam

Is there anything more precious than this cute two year old? I love watching his personality grow, and fall more in love with this kid every day. He's strong willed and stubborn, but gives the best hugs and his smile and laugh just melt your heart!

Liam is IN LOVE with Thomas! When Gaivn was this age he liked Thomas, but Liam is literally obsessed. We have two Thomas engines, because Liam pretty much insisted he couldn't share with Gavin, and needed his very own. Even sneaking Thomas away from Liam to get him on the cake was a feat! I love how it turned out! Making these special Birthday Cakes for my boys is always fun and I really hope I can keep this tradition up. (p.s. it turns out cutting graham crackers into railroad ties is harder than I expected)

While visiting friends, Liam loved playing with their kitchen set. So with Birthday money from family and us we decided to get him for his Birthday. It was first up in his room, but now it's downstairs just outside the kitchen...So Liam and I can make lunch at our own kitchens at the same time. Every time he turns on the water he makes water noise, and will often cook us all food and bring us a bowl full. I love his, "Here 'a-go broder! Here a-go Mommy! Here 'a-go Daddy!" Here's a picture from just the other day of him cooking me a bowl of cereal and coming over every few seconds to remind me, "Is hot! Owie!"

Liam's actual Birthday was on Sunday and we had a low key day opening more presents and Skyping with family. And of course we decorated with hearts describing all the characteristics we love about Liam. It may have been Liam's special day...but really we are the lucky one's to have this loving, goofy, determined two-year-old in our family!
